  • What makes ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING unique compared to other animation and gaming institute ?
    • ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING has many advantages over other schools. We are a specialized academy in ”media arts” and not a department within a larger institution. Neither we are a small set up in a closed atmosphere.
      Other institutes may have a wider variety of subjects to choose from, but we are much more focused on all things related to 2D and 3D Animation, Game Art & Design, Visual Effects. As a result, you get a highly focused real-world training experience. The atmosphere of the school has more of an "art-school" quality. A major advantage our students have is a computer workstation to work on.
      Students' works are evaluated in personal critique sessions with their classroom instructors, not by outside parties.Their final work is always critiqued in the context of their progress, skills, and work ethic. Teachers get to know their students personally and serve as excellent mentors during the program and beyond.
  • Does the academy provide job placement?
    • Getting a job in the industry depends on the student's personal skills and creativity. At ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING, our main goal and responsibility is that every student should finish the program with a professional demo reel, a portfolio and actual industry contacts. ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING has connections with several studios and often bring in guest speakers to inform students about job opportunities at studios. The students who take advantage of the resources and work hard can succeed in finding a job anywhere
  • Where do your students work after completing their programs at AAG?
    • The students from all over India apply to our college; our students will find employment all over the country, working for studios. Delhi NCR, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, itself is one of the hottest place for animation and gaming employing thousands. Students can work locally or can work on projects for feature films, TV series, commercials, web cartoons and video games. Others can become independent and work on their own projects.
  • Why do I need art and drawing skills to be a CG animator? Don't computers do it all?
    • The computer is just a tool. Computers do not create animation, artists do!
      Computer animation studios want to hire people with knowledge of 3D software, but more importantly, strong fine-art skills! The ability to visualize ideas and an understanding of life drawing and anatomy is vital for the computer animator or modeler.
      You will be able to illustrate concepts with traditional art first, and then create the final product using the computer.
  • Do I need to submit a portfolio for a part-time or summer intensive course?
    • Yes, you will need to. Portfolios are required for acceptance into our full-time and short time diploma and certificate programs. To register for a part-time or summer course, you simply fill in the online registration form and pay the course fee.
  • Does ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING provide housing for students?
    • We do not provide housing.We recommend booking a room in an apartment in the local area.It is common for students to share apartments with one or two of their classmates
  • Touring the campus before admission is allowed?
    • Yes! The Academy is open for tours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. To schedule a personal tour, call us at 0120 4504507.
  • Since when has the academy been around?
    • ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING is a new college with a promise to deliver. This is the second year for the college but it was under intensive planning for quite a few years.
  • Is B.Sc. Animation Degree Approved?
    • The Degree is offered by Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and is in collaboration with TOONSKOOL, it has been running very successfully at Bangalore, Mumbai and many other places.
  • Is financial aid / Education Loan available?
    • Any Nationalized Bank for the B.Sc. Degree. For Diploma Program the institute can help you get Loan.
  • What are the financial benefits of the one-year program model at the academy ?
    • Well at first it will be cheaper than the larger programs, and it provides the best curriculum of its range.
  • What kind of results can I expect from my education at academy?
    • ACADEMY OF ANIMATION AND GAMING is very much capable of delivering the best results amongst all the other institutes.
  • Once I have made a demo reel at academy, can I expect the school to continue to help promote my work?
    • Yes, even if you are out of academy you can expect the help of your teachers for your portfolio needs or any other help regarding your career.
